Simply the best, better than all the rest... We’ve been coming to The Cosy Tearoom for several years now, and it’s still our favourite cafe in Linlithgow. Sheena's coffee is second to none - she has the exclusive on Kimbo beans in town - and her flat white is the gold standard by which we now measure all others. Sheena’s cakes are always freshly baked using excellent ingredients. The millionaire’s shortbread is outstanding, and her layered cakes are just as tempting – so much so that I’ve made it a mission to work my way through them all. The lunch menu is consistently high quality, with delicious homemade soups that change regularly and a great selection of sandwiches and toasties. Inside, it’s warm and inviting, with a small number of tables that add to the cosy charm – worth booking ahead, especially if you’re planning to enjoy an Afternoon Tea. The décor is tasteful and warm. Best of all, Sheena herself is a delight – always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely interested in her customers. The Cosy Tearoom isn't just a café; it's a Linlithgow gem that consistently delivers excellence. Simply the best!

I devoured it all before I even thought about taking a picture. The loveliest tea room, the soup was delicious and i couldn’t resist the lure of the beautiful cakes. I went for a lemon and blueberry cake and it was the best cake Ive ever tasted. In fact the reason I’m writing this review is because I woke up thinking about it. The tea was delicious and to top it all off the service was the kind of service that you rarely find, they give the tea room the loveliest feeling. I can’t wait to return.

Stopped here for lunch today- lovely little place. We had haggis and cheese toastie and a ham & cheese toastie and both were delicious. We intended just getting toasties but got drawn in by the fantastic selection of homemade cakes- both Millionaires and rocky road were excellent! Had to offset the cakes by a walk round the loch, but well worth it. No photos of the cakes as we ate them too quickly!

It was very cozy indeed. The decoration makes this a nice experience and the owner was very interesting to talk to. The service was good and we got served super fast. The quality of the food is adequate to the price. It can get loud when coffee is being made.

My wife and I really enjoyed the freshly made lentil soup served with a thick slice of brown bread. The lady owner was a lovely host and great fun to talk with. Big mention for the dark chocolate and ginger tiffin tray bake, absolutely delicious.

Lovely little lunch of a toastie and homemade soup. The two ladies were brilliant, with nothing being too much hassle. Everything is home made and delightful, the question is, do I go for a cake?
